Today we had a little Star Wars party for my son. We had pizza, strawberries, little R2D2 bananas (from the Star Wars Cookbook), chips, Yoda Soda (also from the cookbook), and ice cream.
The kids played pin the light-saber on Yoda and bombed a chalk drawing of the Death Star with water balloons.
My son loves a Mexican restaurant near our house that has a huge bouquet of suckers, so I tried to make a miniature one in a dessert dish.
The bananas got a little soggy and gross and the kids didn’t like them. I really liked the outer coating since they were covered in white chocolate and salted peanuts.
Overall, it was a great day!
