Yesterday Frank and Beans and I went on a leaf hunt and then did some leaf prints. It was much harder than I thought it was going to be. They still turned out great though.

Is brush on paint or spray paint used to color these leaves?
Comment by Coloring Buddy Mike June 15, 2009 @ 12:53 pmWe brushed the paint on the leaves. I think we might have even used one of those flat foam brushes. You can often find those kind of brushes at Michael’s for 10 cents each. Just make sure to not put too much paint on the leaves. If the layer of paint is too thick, then you won’t get to see all of the details of the leaves. We also used cheap acrylic paint instead of poster paint.
